When I was 18, my parents bought me a used Pentax 35mm camera. I took a picture of my dinner and continued to click all night long.

I took a Photography course in college and continued to snap photos with that camera for a decade plus. The camera shows its wear and tear all too much.

I forgot my camera on a vacation trip one summer and bought a point and shoot digital camera. I brought it everywhere with me. Once even dropping it in a river as I fell on a slippery rock. But after drying it out it still took pictures.

My husband then surprised me with a Nikon D60 when I expressed desire to start a photography business. We've snapped thousands upon thousands of pictures of our son already!
